Why is "natural" being labeled as "bad"?

We are all in turmoil. Our world has gone completely upside down, where good is bad and bad is "good". This has been a hard year for everyone for many reasons. We have been subjected to social isolation, separation from our friends and family, changes to our work and home environment, and so have our children.
There are those of us who believe organic and natural is the way to go. We feel that medical freedom is the basis of our lives, and we just want to be left alone to make our own, educated choices.
Organic and natural products, coming from nature, have been utilized for ages to combat disease, heal the sick, and improve overall health. But, these days, if you openly endorse these ideas, you are "labeled". You are accused of spreading "false information", and "misinformation", and you are dangerous to society.
Since when did giving a person another alternative for health & wellness become a BAD thing?? Our ancestors lived off the land and used plants, herbs, and other NATURAL products for everything, from cleaning to health. They passed these recipes down from generation to generation.
Naturally occurring plants, herbs, essential oils, and other "home remedies" are natural. They are not made in a lab, they are in no way synthetic, they are like we are, organic. This makes them easier for our bodies to recognize and they work in unison with our bodies' natural, inborn abilities. Synthetic, lab-created medications take more work for our bodies to break down and use, and oftentimes, some ingredients are incompatible with our chemical makeup. Since these are not naturally occurring substances, our bodies do not recognize them and may even try to reject them.
Why, then, is it wrong to want to use natural, organic products over synthetic, lab-created products? We are being bullied, called names, and even "censored" for sharing our information. We CAN NOT stop sharing. Since when did our health and wellness become anyone else's business or responsibility? My health care decisions do NOT, in any way, effect any one else. What I take for my high blood pressure or my depression, is MY business.
For one, I will continue to research and make my own health and wellness decisions. There are like-minded people and groups out there and we need to stick together. Keep sharing, keep offering that differing opinion, and keep up the fight! Research ALL the information you can find and make the choice that best suits YOUR view. Talk to your primary care physician. If you do not feel comfortable, or feel that they are listening to you, find another one!! We are still able to make that choice as well. It is their responsibility to give us INFORMED CONSENT and not dictate our health care decisions. If they are not offering you options, saying you "have" to do something you do not feel comfortable doing, find another medical provider.
Stay tuned for more posts. This is my first and I have no idea what I'm doing. My intent is NOT to force any belief or stance on you. I want everyone to have the choice to make their own decisions about what is best for them and their family. I want everyone to know ALL the options and feel comfortable making educated choices. What works for me may not be appropriate or work for you.
Thank you for visiting and come back soon. Blessed Be!
